Possible 2021 Nissan 400Z Teased: It’s Happening

New Nissan Z performance coupe among 12 new Nissan models coming

  • Next-generation Nissan sports coupe among models teased on company’s YouTube channel

  • Nissan says upcoming product lineup covers “A to Z”

  • Other models include a redesigned Nissan Frontier and updated Nissan Pathfinder


Nissan‘s recent struggles doesn’t seem to have slowed it down. The automaker released a teaser video this morning showing 12 upcoming vehicles including a brand-new Nissan Z coupe. We will go ahead and assume it’s the 2021 Nissan 400Z.

The video shows the Z logo on the side of the sleek coupe. A distinctive headlight design stands out among the lineup of LEDs featured on the other models.

Other models seen in the video include a small pickup which is likely the upcoming Nissan Frontier. There’s also two large SUVs next to the potential 400Z that could be the next Pathfinder and Armada. We can also make out other SUVs like the Qashqai and Murano models as well as other Nissans we don’t get here like the Note, Terra, and Navara.

One car we don’t see is the Nissan GT-R. The current GT-R has been around longer than the Nissan 370Z, but Nissan doesn’t appear to have immediate plans for a new generation.

Nissan has fallen on difficult times in recent months. The scandal involving former CEO Carlos Ghosn and the COVID-19 pandemic have hit the automaker hard and has forced layoffs across the company. The video teased this morning shines a much more positive light on Nissan.
