Pricing For The 2020 Ford Escape Starts At $28,549 CDN

The all-new, next-generation 2020 Ford Escape will have a starting price of $28,549 in Canada.

Last Spring, Ford created a small town they called Escapeville to launch their next-gen Ford Escape. The completely redesigned Escape features a lot of new technologies to make it best-ever.

“This new vehicle performs like no other Escape before,” said Jim Hughes, Ford Escape chief program engineer. “It’s quick, it’s responsive and, in staying true to the standard set by three generations of Escapes before it, it’s a heck of a lot of fun to drive.”

That being said, the 2020 Escape will come in six different trims and the pricing goes as follows:

  • Escape S FWD / AWD – $28,549 / $30,049
  • Escape SE FWD / AWD – $30,549 / $32,049
  • Escape SEL FWD / AWD – $33,549 / $35,049
  • Escape SEL AWD WITH 2.0L – $37,049
  • Escape Titanium AWD – $40,049
  • Escape Titanium Hybrid FWD / AWD – $36,549 / $38,049

A choice of three different powertrains will be offered on the 2020 Ford Escape. The base Escape will come equipped with the 1.5L EcoBoost I-3 developing 180 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. The second powertrain available is the 2.0L EcoBoost I-4 with 250 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. Lastly, an all-new hybrid powertrain system, the 2.5L Hybrid, with 198 total system horsepower.

Technology wise, the Escape will come standard with Ford Co-Pilot360 which includes Auto high-beam headlamps, BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane-Keeping System (Lane-Keeping Assist, Lane-Keeping Alert and Driver Alert), Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) (includes Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning with Dynamic Brake Support), Rear View Camera.
