The Lyriq will go on sale in early 2022.
Starting price will be under $60,000.
In early 2020, GM made some bold and powerful announcements about their future electrification plans. By the summer, we all got a glimpse of the all-new Cadillac Lyriq. Without hesitation, all agree that’s it’s stunning. And now, we know that the production version of the crossover/wagon will look just as good.
Too often, the final vehicle to leave the assembly isn’t quite as exciting or appealing as the concept. As far as the all-new fully-electric Cadillac Lyriq, this will not be the case. CarBuzz reports that the main differences will be the side-view mirrors and the seating arrangement.
“The most significant/noticeable change to the exterior will be the side mirrors. The ones on the show car were camera-based, which are not currently legal in the United States,” said GM’s Katie Minter. “A lot of the other features will look similar, if not exactly the same.”
As well, the concept features seating for four passengers however the production version will include room for five. As well, the 33-inch advanced LED screen, AKG sound system, and new road noise cancellation technology will all be available to Lyriq buyers.
