Ram Goes Mopar for Special Edition 1500 Pickup

Mopar parts and rendering for special edition

  • A Ram special without a supercharger?

  • Limited to just 250 examples

Ram is introducing a new Mopar edition 1500 pickup for sale in the US and Canada. The Mopar ’21 Ram 1500 Special Edition will get loads of Mopar accessories along with a serialised plaque and a rendering of their truck, limited to just 250 in total.

The Special Edition trucks will be based on 2021 Ram 1500 pickups in Big Horn and Lone Star trims, offered in crew cab and 5.7L V8 with eight-speed automatic only. Just 210 will be assembled for the US and 40 for Canada, with a pick of four colours including Billet Silver, Bright White, Flame Red, and Hydro Blue.

Included in the package are black exterior stickers on the cab and bedsides plus the stripe extends over the included one-piece tonneau cover. The grille and the exhaust tips are black, and there are black Mopar running boards. Tow hooks, adjustable tie-dows, and a spray-in bed liner complete the outside, while inside are Mopar-logo seats with Mille bags, a serialised Mopar ’21 instrument cluster badge, and all-0weather floor mats.

The coolest part of the truck, though, is that each one comes with an exclusive owner kit that comes in a custom box. In the kit, buyers will find a custom-made personalised metal certificate of authenticity as well as a special rendering of the truck done by the Mopar Design team.

MSRP for the option package is $8,500 in the US, so expect it to come in at around $10,000 in Canada. The trucks are expected to arrive in the summer.
