Ram is launching another special edition of its TRX pickup. Like the last few, the main extra is that it’s a different colour. But if there’s one thing we’ve learned from Ram, Jeep, and Dodge special editions in the last few years it’s that a lot of buyers care very much about their paint choices. Plus this one gives you Prowler Yellow interior trim.
It’s called the 2023 Ram 1500 TRX Havoc and it joins the Sandblast and Ignition special editions of Ram’s super truck.
Ram paints it Baja Yellow on the outside, a colour only available with the Havoc. On the inside, it gets Prowler Yellow accent stitching as well as an embroidered yellow TRX logo. The digital dash also shows Baja Yellow.
The 2023 TRX Havoc Edition will set you back $120,890 plus destination, about $15,000 more than a regular TRX. But you do get more than just the paint and thread. The Ram TRX Havoc comes with the Level 2 Equipment Group, dual-pane roof, spray-in bed liner, bead lock wheels, and carbon fiber flat-bottom steering wheel as well as the advanced safety group. Look at it that way and it’s actually a bit cheaper than the standard truck if you want all the goodies.
Of course it has the regular Ram 1500 TRX bits like the 702 hp 6.2L supercharged V8, massive fenders, and Bilstein adaptive shocks. Everything you need to drive over almost any terrain.
The 2023 Ram TRX Havoc goes on sale early next year. Ram didn’t say how many units it would build, but it did say quantities are limited.
