Ram Launches Elite Edition of 2023 Ram 1500 Limited

Fancier Ram coming, photos of it aren't

  • Limited Elite adds fancy appointments

  • No, that photo isn’t it

Ram is launching an even more luxurious version of the Ram 1500 Limited pickup for 2023. Called the Limited Elite Edition, it gets a bedazzled shifter, premium leather, and a suede headliner.

The Ram 1500 Limited, not to be confused with the Ram Classic, is the most luxurious expression of the Ram pickup. Launched in 2012, it is the one for Ram buyers who have no problem looking fancy.

For 2023, Ram Limited Elite is a new even higher grade. It will add a jeweled version of the Ram rotary shift knob in the cabin, along with premium leather bucket seats. A suede headliner moves the truck to the level of the true luxury ride (mouse fur or hard synthetic doesn’t do it here). The cabin gets heated and ventilated seats in the front and the rear, there are unique bright pedals, and a 19-speaker premium sound system. To finish it off, there are special graphic animations for the instrument cluster.

On the outside, the Ram Limited Elite has Ram’s multifunction tailgate with a deployable bed step. It will also get a bed cargo divider and adjustable tie-down hooks.

The Ram Elite will be sold only as a crew cab, and only with the 5.7L Hemi V8 with eTorque mild hybrid assist. The trucks go on sale near the end of the year, with an MSRP of $92,820 plus destination.

If you’re wondering where the photos of this new interior are, so are we. Ram didn’t provide any, so we’re going to have to guess what they look like. Until we get an update, you get the interior of the original 2012 Laramie Limited. Expect the Elite to look much more upscale.
