Ram Revolution says it gives customers input on design
Ram EV pickup set for 2024 reveal
While Ford and GM have already revealed their electric pickups, Ram is still working on its own. So it’s inviting buyers to help become part of the design and watch the progress as the company gets ready to reveal the Ram 1500 EV in 2024.
It’s called the Ram Revolution, and the automaker calls it an insider program that “will provide consumers with unique content and a closer connection with the Ram brand and its electric-vehicle philosophy.” Through the Ram Revolution hub, potential customers will be able to see and even influence Ram’s plans.
In true Ram fashion, there’s a manifesto video to start the campaign. The clip is full of truck-forward imagery like farms, bridges, and construction sites, all meant to hype you up for the truck that we can’t yet see.
To go with the site, Ram is planning what it is calling the Ram Real Talk Tour. It’s a series of meetings with customers at various events “to better understand what the next generation of Ram trucks and vans must do to meet their needs.” So like a focus group, but more town hall.
Ram says that it will offer fully electrified vehicles “in the majority of its segments” by 2025, and a full portfolio of electrified vehicles no later than 2030.
