GT is Range Rover’s fifth model, launching as an all-electric grand tourer.
Interior features a single screen, driver display, and woven textile dashboard.
Prototypes are in final testing before a full reveal later this year.
Range Rover just dropped a surprise: meet the Range Rover GT, the fifth member of the family, and it’s a proper grand tourer.
Martin Limpert, Managing Director, called it “the most car‑like, yet unmistakably capable, Range Rover ever created”.
We were given a full interior preview this week in the U.K., and it’s minimal, architecturally inspired and well thought-out with a single-screen layout, driver display instead of a traditional cluster, a concealed full-width vent, and a woven textile dashboard that even hides speakers. It’s built to be calm, quiet, and super comfortable.
Range Rover says the GT will have class-leading second-row legroom, and I believe it; we all commented on how much space the 4-seater offered in the back seats from my 5’1 frame, all the way to my over 6-foot-tall colleagues. A 5-seat configuration will be available.

The materials are all high-quality, durable, and sustainable, and I’m already excited to see the options in person; Range Rover interiors always nail the details.
The GT is being launched as an all-electric model on the new EMA platform (built in Halewood, UK), with hybrid flexibility planned later. Range Rover’s calling it a reimagined grand tourer, with effortless EV performance, long-haul refinement, and actual off-road capability rolled into one.
Prototypes are finishing global testing, wrapped in a cool topography-inspired camouflage that nods to its tech-forward design and touring spirit. More details are coming later this year, and I can’t wait to see the full reveal.
