Refreshed 2024 Genesis G70 From $53k in Canada

  • G70 gets more power

  • New cabin with updated finishings

Genesis is refreshing the G70 sedan for 2024 with more performance and more tech. The price tag has been “enhanced” to go along with the rest of the car, with a starting price of $53,000.

For that higher price tag, up by $2,500, the 2024 G70 gets a new 2.5L turbo engine. It replaces last year’s 2.0L, boosting horsepower to 300 and torque to 311 lb-ft. The 365 hp 3.3L turbo V6 stays on the options list.

Genesis has also updated the cabin with a new touchpad climate control display and a frameless rear mirror. Genesis says detail changes to switches, trim, and air vents are all meant to help upgrade the user experience inside.

New tech for 2024 includes Genesis Digital Key. This lets you use your smartphone instead of a keyfob to access and drive the car, and includes the ability to share a key with other smartphones and to limit their access.

Genesis Highway Driving Assist, the company’s driver-assist suite, is also standard. New colours for 2024 include grey and blue paints inspired by Iceland and Indonesia, respectively, and there are new interior palettes as well.

The 2024 Genesis G70 Advanced 2.5T is priced at $53,000, which includes delivery and fees. The Prestige trim is $58,000, with the 3.3T Advanced for $58,000 and 3.3T Sport for $64,000. The 2024 G70 is on sale now.
