There were a lot of fast cars at this year’s Geneva International Auto Show. There was the Bugatti Chiron Sport, the new Huracan Performante Spyder, the 488 Pista, the Mission E Cross Turismo, and there was this thing, the Rimac C_Two. Aside from the Chiron Sport which it would still blow out of the water in a race, no other car in Geneva or elsewhere can match what the C_Two is bringing on paper.
It has an all-electric powertrain that delivers a mind-numbing 1,915 horsepower. Its battery provides 650 kilometers of range. It can reach 412 km/h and it will get you to 100 km/h in just 1.8 seconds. It’s also actually going to be sold.
We don’t know how much it will cost, but that doesn’t really matter given that only 150 will be built and it’s very likely that the 150 buyers who will quickly snatch up all available C_Twos won’t know how much it costs either when they sign the contract.
If we were to estimate, we’d say 3 million dollars. Yeah, that sounds about right.
