Rivian R1T Configurator Goes Live Nov 23 For All, Live for Pre-Orders Now

R1T build and price live next week

  • Build and price your dream electric pickup

  • Canadian deliveries to start next November

The build and price configurator for the Rivian R1T is open now, at least for those who have put their money down for a pre-order of the electric pickup. For everyone else, access to the configurator goes live in just a few days.

Pre-order customers gained access to the site earlier this week, letting them build and price their electric trucks and giving them a first look at the various new Launch Editions as well as different battery pack options. Rivian also showed off the exclusive Launch Green paint option that you can see in the photo up top.

If you haven’t put down your cash for one of the electric trucks just yet, you’ll need to wait a few more days. Come Monday, at 9 AM Pacific standard time, the configurator goes live to the public. Of course there’s a good chance it will be overwhelmed with interest at that point, so you might have a slower time getting on it at first. Just look at the days it took for Ford’s Bronco configurators to start working smoothly.

We’ve already gotten pricing for the Launch Edition trucks, starting from US $75,000. Deliveries of the trucks will start next June, with the R1T and R1S SUV both expected to arrive in Canada next November. Also available will be a longer-range battery pack in early 2022 as well as shorter-range models with pricing not-yet-announced. The lowest-priced R1T at launch will be $67,500.
