Adds custom storage for your gear, with a Rolls price
Easy-swaps for whatever your day entails
The Rolls-Royce customisation team has designed a new kit for the Cullinan called the Recreation Module. It’s designed to be a power-operated home to some unbelievable luxury kit that you’ll put in the back of your SUV to have you ready for activities ranging from fly fishing to base jumping and more.
Designed to fit under the cargo area of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the Recreation Module doesn’t cut into boot space, instead offering 48L of space of its own. It sits on a motorised drawer that slides in and out of the back, trimmed to match or contrast with your interior and exterior, though they’ll make it look like whatever you want.
For the brand’s ultra-luxury buyers, you can start with a module that provides a hosting service with glassware and utensils for cocktails for up to eight adults (not for the driver, of course). RR-monogrammed highball glasses, walnut chopping boards, and a place to keep a snack.
Rolls also shows off a special kit designed for urban photography that it created with photographer Mark Riccioni. That one is meant to hold a DJI Mavic Mini drone, iPad Pro and MacBook Pro, along with other accessories.
The idea behind the modules is that Rolls will make you one for any activity, though the brand suggests making one for shooting or for ski gear, or, as we said, for kiteboarding or base jumping. Basically, it’s a trunk kit for whatever it is you like to do. They’re meant to be easily removable so that you (or your butler) can just pop in the kit you need for that day’s planned activity.
Best yet, in addition to the Recreation Module, buyers can fit a Viewing Suite to their Cullinan. A pair of rear-facing chairs and a cocktail table that extend from the boot with the hatch open to let you tailgate in high style.
