The Jaguar XF Sportbrake is sold in the US.
FYI, the Sportbrake is a station wagon.
It became available in 2017 and may not last beyond the 2020 model year.
We needlessly downloaded a bunch of images of the Jaguar XF Sportbrake just to build a gallery. This gorgeous wagon, which was introduced in 2017 as a 2018 in the US, never made it to Canadian soil. Truth be told, we’ve never seen one on the road outside of Europe which is why we think that these spy shots are a glimpse of a car that will no longer be sold in the US.
Spy shots shared by Motor Authority leave only little to the imagination as it’s clear by what we see that only the front and rear fascias will be updated. Last, the Jaguar XE got a facelift with revised headlights, grille, and updated portions of the rear. It is expected that, again like the XE, the cabin will receive only minor tweaks.
In brief, it doesn’t matter what Jaguar does to the XF Sportbrake, it will always be a sublime station wagon. If you do live in the US, here’s the lowdown on the car. There are two versions, the P300 AWD and the P380 AWD. The latter features the 380-horsepower supercharged 3.0-litre V6, and includes an adaptive suspension, torque vectoring, and loads more good stuff. In Rossello Red, with the Black Pack, ebony and pimento interior, and the Comfort and Luxury groups, it’s perfect. Please order and send to Montreal C/O Motor Illustrated… Thanks.
Do it quickly as there are rumours that the Jaguar XF Sportbrake will be pulled from the market after the 2020 model year.
