Stellantis Will Share Its Electrification Strategy On July 8th

Stellantis has hinted that electrified vehicles are on the way but next week, we expect to get a better idea of their plans

  • This will be part of Stellantis’ EV day.

  • Stellantis is well behind the other American automakers when it comes to electrification.

Stellantis, ex-FCA, has been both scolded and praised for their current product lines. While enthusiasts are buying them up, many wonder what the company will do to face off with an increasingly electrified competition.

General Motors and Ford have laid out plans for a not-too-distant future where electric vehicles will take over from the internal combustion engine. Over at Stellantis, with the exception of a 4xe Jeep and a Chrysler Pacifica hybrid, both PHEVs, full-EVs are essentially never discussed especially for North America.

All Stellantis Brands Have A Decade To Prove They Deserve To Live

On Thursday, July 8 at 2:30 p.m. CEST / 8:30 a.m. EDT., during its EV Day hosted by Stellantis Chief Executive Officer Carlos Tavares, Stellantis will provide a holistic view of its electrification strategy. Expectations include a first all-electric SUV, be it in Cherokee or Grand Cherokee size, and perhaps some details pertaining to Chrysler’s future and the next generation of Dodge cars.
