  • Up to 420 km electric range with dual-motor AWD and 1,500 kg towing capacity

  • Features new Subaru EV lighting, 14-inch touchscreen, and advanced EyeSight safety suite

Subaru Canada has announced pricing for the all-new 2026 Subaru Trailseeker, an electric SUV set to arrive at Canadian dealerships in spring 2026. The vehicle made its public debut at the Montreal International Auto Show, with three trim levels offered: Touring ($54,995 ($57,852 w/fees)), Limited ($57,995 ($60,852 w/fees)), and Premier ($60,995 ($63,852 w/fees)).

The 2026 Trailseeker features Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive as standard, powered by dual electric motors delivering approximately 375 horsepower. It offers up to 1,500 kilograms of towing capacity and 210 millimetres (8.3 inches) of ground clearance. A 74.7-kWh battery is expected to provide a driving range of up to 450 kilometres on a single charge, pending final confirmation. The model is also equipped with a North American Charging Standard (NACS) port and a battery preconditioning system to support fast charging in varied temperatures.

More Range Than Expected for the 2026 Subaru Trailseeker

Compared to the Subaru Solterra, the Trailseeker is more than 150 millimetres longer and nearly 25 millimetres taller. This added space allows for an expanded cargo area and improved passenger accommodation. Standard roof rails and a rugged body contribute to the vehicle’s utility-focused profile. The SUV also features Subaru’s new EV lighting signature, including an illuminated six-star front badge, redesigned front fascia, and three-dimensional rear lighting with bold SUBARU lettering.

Inside, the Trailseeker includes a 14-inch touchscreen display, the largest in a Subaru to date. The cabin incorporates a flat floor design, metallic accents, and enhanced legroom. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with dual 15W wireless smartphone chargers and rear-seat USB-C ports. All Trailseeker models come equipped with Subaru’s EyeSight suite of driver-assist features.
