Subaru will use its iconic blue and yellow livery on its rally cars in 2019.
Nothing says Subaru like a blue and yellow rally car with stars on the side. That’s what rally fans will see next year when Subaru brings back its blue and yellow livery on its Americas RallyCross and ARA WRX STIs.
It will pair that with gold wheels, another typical Subaru feature. As you can see in the pictures, these cars look plain gorgeous and we certainly wouldn’t look down on anyone who decided to use the design on their own Subaru WRX STI daily driver.
Anyone who’s familiar with Subaru’s WRC dominance in the 1990s and 2000s will surely be happy to see the blue and yellow come back this year. The color scheme will be featured across Subaru’s racing car lineup.
The blue and yellow rally car will be unveiled next week at the North American International Auto Show next to the WRX STI S209 version which makes its first appearance this side of the pond.
After redesigning its entire SUV lineup, Subaru is showing its performance lineup some love and we couldn’t be more happy.
