SVE stands for Specialty Vehicle Engineering, and power.
Only 50 Yenko Silverados will be built.
The Silverado will be quick and handle accordingly.
Chevrolet and GM fans are very much aware of what the names SVE and Yenko stand for. The latter was the name of a Chevrolet dealership that created some memorable and highly coveted cars. SVE, previously known as SLP (Street Legal Performance), and previously established in Montreal, has the same envious reputation. By combining name and know-how, their latest creation is the 2021 Yenko Chevrolet Silverado.
SVE has been busy for the last year reviving not only the Yenko names with some 1000 horsepower Camaro, but they’ve also resurrected the Syclone name from GM’s occasionally whimsical and psychotic products from the early 90s. For this round, SVE will launch an 800 horsepower 2WD or 4WD Chevrolet Silverado.
The 2021 Yenko Chevrolet Silverado a supercharged 6.2-litre LT1 V8 engine that will also produce 720 lb.-ft. of torque. Power will be transferred through a beefed-up 6-speed automatic transmission but this won’t be a straight-line smoke-show machine.
The Yenko Silverado will also benefit from a lowered suspension with a 2-inch drop upfront and a 5-inch drop in the rear. Heavy-duty sway bars and massive 305/45R22 tires will complete the handling upgrades. Brakes will also be tampered with, as in improved with 6-piston Brembo front calipers that crush 16.1-inch vented rotors.
Only 50 of the 2021 Yenko Chevrolet Silverado will be assembled and will be covered by a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty. If you’re interested, best get on the horn or message your local Chevy dealer now.
