Tesla launches a retro-inspired diner with 80 integrated Supercharger stations.
The building blends nostalgic design with modern tech and operates 24/7.
The menu features burgers, breakfast, and desserts in a clean, minimalist Tesla setting.
Tesla has officially opened its first American-style diner in Los Angeles; a project Elon Musk has been teasing since 2018. Construction began in 2023, and the new location is now open. The venue combines all-day food service with EV charging and is open around the clock, seven days a week.
The Tesla Diner takes its cues from iconic post-war American diners. Customers can be served directly in their vehicles if parked at one of the 80 on-site Superchargers. The restaurant can host up to 250 guests, including a rooftop patio with views of the city.

The building showcases a retro-futuristic design that fuses neon lights, rounded lines, and high-tech elements. Inside, the minimalist space follows Tesla’s design philosophy, featuring clean grey and white tones. Outside, two massive 20-metre LED screens play movies for guests to enjoy while dining or charging.
The menu includes a wide range of options, from breakfast items to classic burgers, along with sandwiches, fountain sodas, and traditional desserts like apple pie. Tesla says all dishes are made with high-quality ingredients.
Elon Musk has already visited the location, though the company has not released any official photos of his appearance. Musk did comment on the diner’s opening on X, the social media platform he owns.
If our retro-futuristic diner turns out well, which I think it will, @Tesla will establish these in major cities around the world, as well as at Supercharger sites on long distance routes.
An island of good food, good vibes & entertainment, all while Supercharging! https://t.co/zmbv6GfqKf
