Tesla Supercharger Network Opens to Porsche and Audi EV Drivers This September

Porsche and Audi owners will be able to charge at 23,500 Tesla Superchargers using brand-specific NACS adapters.

  • Porsche and Audi EVs gain access to Tesla Superchargers starting September 2025.

  • Porsche includes NACS adapter for MY2026 EVs; earlier models receive complimentary or paid options.

  • Audi adds adapter to 2025 e-tron models; Q4 e-tron compatibility still pending.

Porsche and Audi electric vehicle owners in North America will soon be able to use over 23,500 Tesla Supercharger stations as both automakers begin enabling compatibility with the Tesla North American Charging Standard (NACS).

Porsche will begin a soft launch of Supercharger access on September 9, 2025, allowing customers to charge using a Porsche-supplied NACS DC adapter and the Tesla mobile app. Audi will follow later that month, offering access to compatible Tesla NACS Partner Superchargers for select 2025 e-tron models using a certified adapter.

During the Porsche soft launch, charging will be initiated through the Tesla app. Integration with the My Porsche app and plug-and-charge functionality is expected in the following months.

For Audi owners, the Tesla app will also be required to activate and pay for Supercharger use. The new adapter cannot be used with AC Level 1 or Level 2 chargers, including home chargers and Tesla Destination Chargers.

New 2026 Porsche Taycan and Macan Electric models will include the NACS DC adapter at no additional cost. Owners of the 2025 Taycan and all existing Macan Electric models will be eligible for a complimentary adapter, with notifications sent through the My Porsche app.

Taycan owners with 2024 and older models can purchase the adapter for $250 through Porsche’s online store or local dealerships.

Audi will install its adapter as a port-installed accessory for most 2025 model year vehicles in the Q6 e-tron, A6 Sportback e-tron, and e-tron GT lines. Adapter availability for existing Audi e-tron owners will be announced at a later date. The Q4 e-tron remains incompatible with the adapter and Tesla network, pending future updates.

Porsche’s 2026 Taycan and Macan Electric models will come with updated navigation software that includes Tesla Supercharger locations. Software updates to enable this functionality for 2024–25 Macan Electric models will arrive by the end of the year. Updates for Taycan models built in 2025 or earlier will follow.

Audi owners will see Tesla Supercharger locations appear as points of interest in the myAudi app and MMI navigation once access is activated.
