The 2020 BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe will be unveiled in June

BMW Group will take advantage of its NEXTGEN event next June to unveil the new 2020 8 Series Gran Coupe.

From concept to reality, the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe will debut at the BMW Welt in Munich during the BMW Group #NextGen event, from June 25 to 27. That’s what the Bavarian manufacturer has confirmed while providing a teaser image of this new model, the said image represents the silhouette of the production model.

The picture shows only a portrait of the roofline and profile of this newcomer, which is a coupe-style sedan, of course. It will probably have the same physical characteristics as the Coupe model while being longer.

BMW plans to put the car into production in September, and it will land in BMW dealerships in the following months in Canada. This 2020 8 Series Gran Coupe is expected to be powered by the M850i’s 4.4-liter V8, which develops 523 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes with an automatic eight-speed gearbox coupled to the all-wheel drive.
