2022 Honda Passport is Redesigned and Gets a new Rugged TrailSport Version
Priced from $49,270, the 2022 Honda Passport TrailSport will feature the brand’s i-VTM4 all-wheel drive, 3.5-litre V6, and a 9-speed automatic transmission. With unique machined 18-inch wheels and 245/60R18 tires, the TrailSport includes a 10mm increase in track width for improve stance and stability.
“The new Passport and Passport TrailSport are taking Honda’s SUV and truck lineup to a higher level of durability, ruggedness and fun to drive capability,” says Steve Hui, assistant vice president Honda Canada. “The Passport is a tough, competent and adventurous vehicle ready to get dirty off the road or take you on your family on your next excursion on it.”
The Passport TrailSport is distinguished by its unique grille and more aggressive front and rear bumpers that include skid plate designs prominently painted silver. There are orange TrailSport badges on the grille and tailgate, while the Passport and AWD badges are black. The cabin features orange contrast stitching on the steering wheel, door panels and seats, amber interior lighting as well as TrailSport logos embroidered on the front seat headrests.
