The 2022 Hot Wheels Legends Tour Heads to Windsor, Ontario this Weekend

If you have a custom car, this is your chance to immortalize as a future Hot Wheels die-cast toy

  • This will be the tour’s first-ever Canadian stop.

  • This is the Hot Wheels Legends Tour’s fifth year.

That’s right. The blood, sweat, and tears you’ve invested into your car build could live on forever if it’s selected as the next official Hot Wheels die-cast vehicle sold around the world. The Hot Wheels Legends Tour is headed to the Walmart Supercenter at 7100 Tecumseh, Windsor, Ontario this Saturday.

The Legends Tour, which is now in its fifth year, is nothing short of a great car show with one major difference. Instead of winning a trophy or a plaque for your customizing efforts, your pride and joy could become a future 1:64 die-cast toy in a Hot Wheels box. We can’t of a better award, ever.

Participants’ creations will be judged on their creativity, authenticity, and garage spirit by local personalities in the Windsor auto community – including co-owners of Cars & Coffee Windsor, Ricky St.Onge and Jim Slicky, and others.

If you collect Hot Wheels, as some of us still do at Motor Illustrated, this will also be your chance to see the full-size versions of previous champions including the 2018-winning 2JetZ, 2019-winning 1957 Nash Metropolitan, 2020-winning 1970 Pontiac Trans Am, and 2021-winning 1969 Volvo P1800 Gasser.

The action starts at 8 am on Saturday, July 16th.
