The all-new 2022 Nissan Frontier is returning to market just in time to meet the growing demand for small pickups. With a long history of great small pickups which started way back with the Nissan Hardbody.
The link between the new and the old trucks is more evident than ever, especially where styling is concerned. The right-sized pickup has not looked this rugged and ready for work and play in a very long time. The new Frontier arrives very soon and will be priced from $39,998.
Standard for all versions will be the 3.8-litre V6 which delivers 310 horsepower and 281 lb.-ft. of torque. Matched with a 9-speed automatic transmission and a shift-on-the-fly 4-wheel drive, the new Frontier is quite off-road capable and can tow up to 6,490 lbs (2,944 kg).
Included features for the price are a 7.0-inch Advanced Driver Assist Display and a series of safety accessories such as Intelligent Forward Collision Warning and Nissan Safety Shield 360. Available options include a 9-inch colour touchscreen, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, available NissanConnect with Wi-Fi Hotspot, and wireless smartphone charging.
