The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Crushes the ¼ Mile in 10.6 seconds

The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is as fast as the supercharged 755-horsepower C7 ZR1

  • The Z06’s 5.5-litre V8 delivers 670 horsepower.

  • The 0-60 goes by in only 2.6 seconds.

  • How insanely fast will the upcoming C8 ZR1 be?

Chevrolet is once more showing the world that there is no need to spend $250k or more to get a car capable of quite literally humiliating supercars and hanging with hypercars. The new 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 covers the ¼ mile sprint in only 10.6 seconds.

2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Officially Unveiled With 670 Horsepower

And the craziest part is that Chevy’s nowhere near done with the new Corvette. To begin with, this 10.6-second result will likely be bested by owners pulling exceptional runs that could cut another tenth or three from GM’s result. Chevrolet still has a ZR1 to deliver as well as at least one electrified version, both of which will be endowed with more power and therefore be even faster.

The new 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, with its naturally-aspirated 5.5-litre V8, has 670 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque on tap. These numbers are down 85 and 255 respectively when compared to the C7 Corvette ZR1. This Vette ran a 10.6-second ¼ mile as well according to Corvetteblogger. How fast will the C8 ZR1 be?

The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has all the makings of becoming an absolute legend.
