The 2023 Chevrolet Silverado Starts at $47,897 in Canada

Here is a detailed look at the pricing and specifications of the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado on the Canadian market.

  • The Silverado is offered in nine trim levels, three cab lengths, and three bed lengths.

  • The ZR2 off-road version is the most expensive trim level, starting at $90,397.

  • The available Duramax 3.0L diesel engine gets more power this year.

After having received a significant update including a new interior for LT and higher trim levels last year, the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado remains mostly unchanged.

This means that the full-size pickup continues to be offered in 9 trim levels, three bed lengths, and three cab lengths, with four powertrains.

The least expensive configuration is the Regular Cab with the Standard Bed, with the Long Bed adding $300.

When the Double Cab is selected (starting from $51,497), the Standard Bed is the only one available, and the Crew Cab (starting at $53,997) is available with both the Short Bed and the Standard Bed ($54,297).

Of the four powertrains offered, the 2.7L turbocharged four-cylinder engine making 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque is standard on the WT to LT Trail Boss trim levels, followed by the 5.3L V8 engine making 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque optional in most models and standard in the LTZ and High Country.

The available Duramax 3.0L inline six-cylinder diesel engine is the subject of the main change for 2023 since it receives 28 extra horsepower and 35 additional lb-ft of torque, bringing its output to 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft. This engine is available in every trim level except the WT, Custom, and ZR2.

Finally, the 6.2L V8 engine completes the lineup with its output of 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Every model starting with the RST can be ordered with it and it is standard in the ZR2.

All of these engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission except the 2.7L four-cylinder, which is teamed up with an 8-speed unit. A 4×4 drivetrain is a $3,800 option until the Custom Trail Boss trim level, after which it is standard.

Here are what each trim level includes. As usual with full-size pickup trucks, many of the features seen on higher trim levels can be optioned individually on less expensive versions.
