This is the most luxurious Yukon ever
It is equipped with most of the features of the Sierra Denali Ultimate, including Super Cruise
This trim is only available with the 6.2L V8 or the 3.0L Duramax diesel
More importantly, 2023 will see the addition of the Denali Ultimate trim, which sits atop the regular Denali, which had been the brand’s top model for over twenty years.
This trim level is easily distinguished from lesser Yukons by the plethora of Vader dark chrome accents found on the outside as well as its distinctive 22-inch wheels.
Inside, the Yukon Denali Ultimate is also very different from the other trims in the lineup since it comes standard with a laser-etched Alpine Umber full-grain leather upholstery, open-pore Paldao wood accents and a new 10.2-inch infotainment screen.
This screen runs the new-for-2023 Google infotainment system that includes Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
Since the Denali Ultimate is the most expensive Yukon, it comes standard with most of the features that are optional on more affordable models, as well as a few exclusive extras.
This means that the magnetic ride control is standard, as is the adaptive air suspension and the Active Response four-wheel drive system. The only two engines available are the 6.2L V8 and the 3.0L Duramax inline-six-cylinder diesel, both of which are paired with the automaker’s 10-speed automatic transmission.
Inside, the premium Bose sound system with speakers in the front headrests is included, just like the heated, ventilated and massaging front seats, the 12-inch digital instrument cluster and the 15-inch head-up display.
The most important new feature however is the standard Super Cruise, which marks the first time this system is available in a GMC vehicle other than the Sierra.
General Motors’ Super Cruise is an advanced driver assistance system that allows for hands-free driving on highways that have previously been mapped by the automaker. For 2022, the system has been improved in order to be useable even when towing a trailer.
