The 2023 Ram 1500 Starts at $52,740 in Canada

Here is a detailed look at the pricing and specifications of the 2023 Ram 1500 on the Canadian market.

  • 8 trim levels, three powertrains, two bed lengths, and two cab lengths are offered.

  • The most expensive version is the $111,290 TRX powered by a 702-horsepower supercharged V8.

  • The previous generation of the Ram 1500 is still offered under the 1500 Classic name.

The Ram 1500 was the second-best-selling pickup truck in Canada last year and very few changes have been applied to the 2023 model.

This truck is offered in 8 different trim levels, some of which can be ordered with two different bed lengths and two different cab lengths.

The standard powertrain is the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine equipped with the e-Torque mild-hybrid powertrain. A 5.7L Hemi V8 with or without the e-Torque system is also available, and the performance-focused TRX is powered by a 6.2L supercharged V8 engine that makes 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.

All three engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and the 4×4 driveline is a $4,000 option on the Tradesman and Big Horn models, standard on the others.

The standard bed is 6’4’’ in length and it comes paired with either the Quad Cab or the longer Crew Cab, the latter of which is a $4,995 option on the Tradesman and Big Horn models.

Choosing the shorter 5’7’’ bed on these two versions adds $1,700 to the total compared to a long-bed Quad Cab version, but it also includes the longer Crew Cab

The Crew Cab is standard on every other model in which case the 6’4’’ bed is an option that costs $1,395, $1,595, or $1,895 depending on the trim level.
