Mazda Canada has just unveiled the all-new 2024 Mazda CX-90, a three-row SUV that is sure to please. It rides on an all-new performance-oriented platform and is available with an impressive 3.3L Inline-6 e-Skyactiv Turbo engine.

Powerful Performance

The CX-90 is available with the aforementioned 3.3L turbocharged engine which generates an impressive 340hp and 369 Ib-ft of torque when using the recommended premium. The new engine is fitted with an electric motor as part of the M-Hybrid Boost (a mild-hybrid system) positioned between the engine and transmission. The all-new 2024 CX-90 also be delivered with a plug-in hybrid powertrain for those who prefer a more efficient option. The hybrid system pairs the electric motor with Mazda’s 2.5L Skyactiv four-cylinder engine and a 17.8-kWh battery that combined produces 322hp and 369 Ib-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission driving all four wheels, providing plenty of power and control in any situation.

Innovative Technology

This powerful SUV also features some cutting-edge tech features that make it stand out from the competition. It comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, allowing you to easily connect your smartphone to the vehicle’s 12.3-inch infotainment system for added convenience and entertainment options while on the go. Inspired by Japanese aesthetics, the interior offers luxurious comfort throughout all three rows of seating, with various materials like Nappa leather and wood merging together harmoniously. There’s even a special fabric on the dash that showcases Kumihimo – a traditional Japanese weaving technique – using hanging stitches to make use of negative space for an exquisite look that pays homage to its Japanese roots.
