Those who lease or finance get a $6,000 credit.
In both cases, 0% financing is also possible.
A little over a year ago, few would have predicted that all-new, highly anticipated, all-electric, nostalgia-inducing 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz would have been the sales flop that it has turned into. Its base price of $77,495 before fees, for what you get, may have been the first sign of things to come.

There’s no doubt that the ID. Buzz is cool. It gets loads of attention no matter where it goes, and this is a clear sign that it is a rare sight. Pricing, which easily surpasses $92,500 with fees and an accessory or two, before taxes, severely impacts how attainable this electric people mover is.
What’s more, for the price, the ID. Buzz is only an “ok” EV with an estimated range of 377 km (1st Edition RWD) or 372 km (1st Edition 4MOTION AWD). The power figures are decent, but they are only decent.

To attempt to remedy the situation, Volkswagen Canada is offering a Bonus Cash rebate of $21,000 when buying a new Buzz outright. If you prefer financing or leasing, VW will slice $6,000 off the MSRP and provide you with a 0% “loan” for up to 60 months. Even with these rebates and deals, my more powerful, longer-range, better-equipped 2025 Kia EV9 takes about $50 fewer dollars from my pitiful account every month.
At the time of writing these lines, there are no fewer than 35 Buzzes sitting on lots within a 100 km radius of Montreal. Many are two-tone, and some have been waiting for a new owner since March 1st.
This might be the time to negotiate one heck of a deal on a new 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz.
