The First 2023 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 Convertible Headed to Auction

The first production 2023 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 Coupe sold for an incredible $3.6 million

  • The sale price will be donated to the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.

  • Barrett-Jackson will host the auction.

We’re willing to bet that whoever missed out on the opportunity to buy C8 Corvette Z06 Coupe #1 last January will be back to try and land Z06 Convertible #1 for their stable. This week, at the annual Palm Beach sales event, Barrett-Jackson will auction off the first 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 convertible and it will sell for big money.

5 Questions Answered About the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

Possibly more desirable than a coupe, the first convertible will likely fetch an even higher sale price than the $3.6 million forked over Z06 serial #1. As a reminder, the Z06 is a power- and speed monster thanks to its 670-horsepower naturally aspirated 5.5-litre V8 engine. And there’s no better way to soak in the V8’s melody than in a drop-top.

The auction winner will be able to fully customize their Z06 Convertible order for colour, trim, and options. According to Robb Report, the winner will even have the option of picking up their new prized possession in person at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The 2023 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 Coupe is priced at about $87,000 in the US. Officially, the Convertible’s retail price has not yet been shared but should hover near the $95,000 mark.
