FV Frangivento is a Turin-based Italian supercar maker.
Two versions of the Sorpasso will be available.
The ultra-rich and discerning car buyers crave exclusivity and performance. Turin-based Italian supercar maker FV Frangivento is only too happy to oblige. Back in 2019, it revealed its Asfane hypercar and as a follow, it’s now introducing its Sorpasso supercar and it looks very promising.
Two versions of the Sorpasso will be available, the Stradale and GTXX. The Stradale, or Street, will be the base car and will be powered by a 602-horsepower V10 engine. With AWD, the 1,300kg car will destroy the 0-100km/h sprint in only 2.9 seconds, reach 200 km/h in 9.3 seconds and top out at 345 km/h. Yes, this is the “base” car.
Other than a more aggressive look and a two-tone paint scheme, the GTXX will see a supercharger fitted to the V10 which will help push output to a whopping 850 horsepower.
According to Autocar, customers will work directly with designers to fully customize their purchases. They will actually be able to replace the “XX” in the name with a number of their choosing. There are no real details about the cabin however the Sorpasso will be available with an Avatar Driving Assistant, or an intelligent co-driver.
