The GMC Sierra EV Lineup Gains AT4 and Elevation Trims for 2026

• The AT4 version is higher off the ground.

• Meanwhile, the Elevation trim will attract more customers.

GMC is electrifying its Sierra lineup with the introduction of new trims for the 2026 Sierra EV line-up. The luxurious Denali option remains in the catalogue, but buyers interested in GMC’s alternative to the Silverado EV from Chevrolet can now order the base Elevation trim or a more offroad oriented model proudly wearing the AT4 badge. This expansion offers consumers a broader spectrum of choices, which is the usual recipe for a pickup brand like GMC.

The Elevation trim serves as the entry point into the Sierra EV family, featuring a 16.8-inch diagonal center touchscreen, a power-operated eTrunk, and the MultiPro tailgate. On this note, the MultiPro MidGate, which gives the electric truck much more room to store long objects in the cabin is optional on this Elevation model. DC fast-charging capabilities are up to 300kW, while the electric system is also available in 800-volt guise. GMC also makes the 7.2 kW Energy Transfer oss-boarding power system and the Super Cruise hands-free system available. The wheels bolted on the GMC Sierra EV have a 18-inch diameter.

In the (also new) AT4 trim, the suspension is lifted, while the size of those all-terrain tires is set at 35 inches in diameter. This results in a 2-inch of additional ground clearance. The 4-Wheel Steer (featuring Crabwalk) is standard as well, so is the Super Cruise system. And since this trim is oriented to an off-roading crowd, the new Terrain mode is a must.

As for the Elevation trim, the AT4 offers the MultiPro MidGate as an option. The 800-volt electric system is also on the options list, and so is the 10.2 kW Energy Transfer Pro system with 240 and 120-volt outlets in the bed of the truck. The interior is also available with an AT4-exclusive Forest Storm interior theme.

Meanwhile, in the Denali GMC Sierra EV, the customer can order all three battery options (Standard, Extended and Max), while there are two choices for the interior. And even if the Denali trim is at the top, customers still need to order 4-Wheel Steer, Air Ride Adaptive Suspension and the Panoramic Fixed Roof as options.
