The season is appropriately called: Lochdown.
The episodes follow Clarkson, Hammond, and May through Scottish coastal roads.
They drive classic American cars.
We’re thinking about signing up for Prime Video if only to watch the upcoming season of the Grand Tour. As always, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May get to drive cars through some incredible vistas. This time, however, they did not end up very far from home.
This time, the guys head to Scotland during parts of the lockdown to drive and mess about. The aptly named series, Lochdown, takes us along glorious Scottish coastal roads where classic American cars like a Buick Riviera, a Cadillac Coupe de Ville, and a Lincoln Continental Mark V are put to the test. Obviously, the cars are also put through their paces on a race, as they should.
The most stressful part of the teaser is when the three protagonists build a floating bridge and must drive over it in their huge cars. The teaser ends on James shouting “Clarkson!” which is, as one YouTube commenter puts it: “is tradition and will never get old.”
The series begins on Prime Video on July 30th.
