The chassis will be made up of six large casted aluminum components, including the shock towers, while up to 115 3D-printed parts will be used throughout the body structure. The largest of these 3D-printed parts will be the central portion of the steering wheel. In addition, Cadillac is utilizing a flex fabrication process to produce 300 pieces that will be used in the body structure, chassis, interior, and architectural components. The result is a car that is both technologically advanced and uniquely Cadillac.

Additionally, the Ultium platform will serve as the foundation for the upgraded architecture. It will house a 111-kWh battery with a 190-kW DC fast charging capability as a structural element. The battery will power a pair of electric motors, which are projected to produce a total system output of 600 hp and 640 lb-ft of torque. All of this power will allow the CELESTIQ to sprint from 0-60 mph in only 3.8 seconds.
