As though the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster wasn’t exclusive enough, only 63 of the SVJ 63 will be built.
And, lo and behold, they’re all sold out already. It’s difficult to argue against this car if you’re a supercar or Lamborghini collector. Based on the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster, the SVJ 63 will be available in one of eight exclusive new design expressions.
First, the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster retains the normally-aspirated V12’s services. This 6.5-litre mill generates 770PS (759-horsepower) and 531 lb.-ft. of torque. This is enough power to get the SVJ Roadster to 100 km/h in only 2.9 seconds and 200 km/h only 5.9 seconds later. The top speed is more than 350 km/h.
The real story behind the SVJ 63 Roadster is that the car was a collaborative design and styling effort between Lamborghini’s Centro Stile design team and Ad Personam. Together, they came up with eight unique combinations which comprise of an exotic exterior and interior.
The exterior is enhanced by matte or shiny carbon fibre parts including the roof, engine cover, air vents, windscreen rim and wing mirrors. There’s also a new matte titanium finish on the Leirion forged rims which runs with the SVJ 63 livery and a “1 of 63” numbered plate.
The cabin features three Alcantara colour schemes with carbon fibre elements throughout. The steering wheel sports a limited edition badge and there’s a “63” logo on the rear wall in Alcantara and CarbonSkin.
Pricing was not shared although, like really, what difference does it make? The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster starts at just under $700,000 cdn. The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster probably commands a $100,000 premium, or more.
