The LEGO Land Rover Defender Is Another Defender You’ll Want

The 2020 Land Rover Defender was unveiled recently, and you can now build yours with this LEGO Technic set of the real thing.

The all-new Land Rover Defender took the Frankfurt Motor Show by storm earlier this week. The next-gen of the robust SUV was unveiled and is quite a looker. And for the first time in almost 25 years it will be available in North America.

Now, alongside your real 2020 Defender, you can get a matching LEGO one. Indeed, the Danish brand launched, in partnership with Land Rover the LEGO Technic Land Rover Defender.

The LEGO Defender set is a 2,573-piece marvel. Just like the real thing, it features a lot of realistic elements and functions. We’re talking about authentic body panels and wheels, a fully independent suspension, 4WD with three differentials and a working winch to only name a few. How awesome is that?

Niels Henrik Horsted, Marketing Director at the LEGO Group, said: “With every LEGO element, children can build anything they can imagine. I’m very excited about this new model – a truly impressive job done by our LEGO Group designers. Together with Land Rover, we’ve blended elements, design and innovative engineering into a set that shows the boundless creativity of LEGO play, and that with LEGO Technic you can build for real.”

While the 2020 Land Rover Defender will be available next year, if you’re like us and cannot wait you can grab the LEGO Technic Defender online as early as October 1st 2019.
