The Grecale will debut on March 22dn.
It is Maserati’s response to the Porsche Macan.
We’re quite certain that people over at Maserati are as or more excited about the upcoming Grecale SUV. This long-awaited and delayed small performance and premium SUV has within it the ability to make the Italian car company once more relevant, if not profitable.
The 2022 Maserati Grecale SUV will make its official entrance in the crowded premium SUV segment on March 22nd. Its mission, should it succeed, is to shove aside the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Porsche Macan, Audi Q5, BMW X3, and others in a bid to generate big sales for Maserati. This is the largest luxury vehicle segment.

The Grecale will roll off the same assembly line as the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and share many of its components and underpinnings. The design influence is clearly from within as the small SUV bears a resemblance to its larger sibling, the Levante. The influence is evident as seen in Wilcoblok’s post on Instagram.
Mild hybrid and fully-electric powertrains are expected, the former with the introduction of the vehicle this year. The latter will arrive later, perhaps as early as the calendar year 2023.
