The new 2025 Aston Martin Vantage makes its Canadian debut in Montreal

On the sidelines of last weekend's Formula 1 Grand Prix, dealer Decarie Motors had the privilege of receiving the new Aston Martin Vantage 2025 for the first time in Canada.

  • The 2025 Aston Martin is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine.

  • It develops 655 horsepower.

  • The first units will not be delivered until next December.

Over the past few days, the new Aston Martin Vantage 2025 has received a fair amount of attention. In addition to being the safety car on the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, it was presented for the first time at an event organized by Montreal dealer Decarie Motors. For Maurice Assor, head of the Aston Martin and Bentley brands, it is “a real honor for our dealership that this new Vantage is starting its Canadian journey from East to West”.

At first glance

Unveiled last February, the Aston Martin Vantage gets a new look for the New Year. At first glance, the grille is larger than ever. Its look is undoubtedly inspired by that of the One-77. As for the headlights, they are borrowed from the futuristic Valkyrie. The logo has also been enlarged to emphasize the British brand. Built on the same platform as the previous-generation Vantage, the front section is wider. Painted Cosmo orange with a Dark Knight blue interior, it doesn’t go unnoticed.

On board, the new Vantage gets a new 12.75-inch touchscreen from Mercedes-Benz. Buttons have been retained for certain controls. However, the gear selection buttons have been replaced by a small lever in the centre of the console.

Mechanically, the Aston Martin Vantage 2025 retains a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine. More powerful than before, it develops 655 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Pirelli tires have been replaced by Michelin Pilot Sport.

On the horizon, there’s no sign of electrification with the Vantage coupe, whose mission is to compete with the Porsche 911 Turbo.

We’ll have to wait before it arrives in earnest

Although the 2025 Aston Martin Vantage has been seen up close by customers invited by the brand, we’ll have to wait a few months before it arrives. Although production began in late winter, the first units won’t arrive until December. Mr. Assor confided to us that the enthusiasm was palpable on the part of his customers, and that he had already received a few deposits.

The 2025 Aston Martin Vantage has a base price of $229,200 for the Canadian market. That said, the average price hovers around $300,000, as many customers select options such as a carbon fibre roof or rocker panels.
