The New Genesis G90 Looks Like a True Flagship Luxury Sedan

The updated Genesis G90 is still one of the best-kept premium sedan secrets in the industry

  • The big sedan now wears the brand’s unique signature design cues.

  • The Parabolic lines created by the lights have never looked more at home on a Genesis product.

Genesis has now completed its full-on product revamp. Hyundai Motor Group’s premium brand can easily be forgiven for having taken as long to update the G90 sedan. In the last two years, they’ve launched three new products and updated two others.

The updates the G70 and G80 sedans received mimicked the design language set forth by the midsize GV80 SUV. It was the vehicle that introduced Genesis’ new Parabolic Line and Daylight Opening (DLO) side styling as well as the Crest Grille and sleek Two-Line lamps meant to resemble the company’s logo.

G90 will redefine the flagship luxury design experience in a unique way only offered by Genesis,” said Head of Genesis Global Design, SangYup Lee. “G90 is the ultimate expression of Athletic Elegance that carefully balances dynamic driving and an elegant rear seat experience.”

Of the three sedans offered by Genesis, the new G90, based on pictures alone, is the one that wears the design language best. As a reminder, the G90 is also impressively well-appointed and sublime to drive.
