McLaren shared yet another teaser of its new GT ahead of its launch on May 15th.
Last month McLaren unveiled a few pictures of its upcoming GT wrapped in camo. Today, the new Grand Tourer dropped the camo to show a lot more skin.
The British manufacturer will finally unveil the “McLaren of Grand Tourers” on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, they announced.
Along with the first official photo of the car, they shared a video where we can not only see a few close-ups, like the rear lights, but also the silhouette of the McLaren.
During the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, McLaren Automotive CEO, Mike Flewitt said that the car will have “continent-crossing capability and a level of agility never experienced before in the luxury Grand Tourer segment” and added that it “will be the most usable mid-engined car yet.”
This new McLaren GT is the fourth new car under the McLaren Automotive Track25 business plan and will be positioned alongside the existing McLaren Sports Series and Super Series. It is also the “only Grand Tourer to share DNA with the McLaren Speedtail Hyper-GT” according to the British manufacturer.
On May 15th, at 1300 BST, you’ll be able to watch the unveiling live on McLaren’s website: https://cars.mclaren.com/new-mclaren-gt
