The Next-Generation Hyundai Tucson’s Cabin Will Be Radically Upgraded

This new Hyundai Tucson rendering depicts a clean, functional, and modern cabin.

  • It is expected to be heavily inspired by the Hyundai Vision T concept.

  • The cabin rendering matches the modern exterior.

  • The new Hyundai Tucson is expected to break cover later this year.

The next-generation Hyundai Tucson should be launched before the end of this year. This cabin rendering shows a Tucson that will be far more modern and premium-looking.

Hyundai Unveils Vision T Concept in Los Angeles

Much rides on this compact SUV for Hyundai as it is the Korean brand’s second best-selling nameplate in both Canada and the US. At the 2019 edition of AutoMobility LA, Hyundai introduced the Vision T Plug-in Hybrid SUV Concept which, for all intents and purposes, is the design concept for the next-generation Tucson.

While there are plenty of exterior images of the Vision T concept as well as some spy shots on the web, this rendering shared by autospy.net is the first clear depiction of what the new Tucson’s cabin may look like. The highlights are the digital IP behind the steering wheel and the cascading touchscreen display that flows into the HVAC controls. This setup will likely be reserved for the high-end trims however the premium elegance and simplicity of what we can see is extremely appealing.

Hyundai has said in the past that the next-generation Hyundai Tucson will be quite a departure from what we’ve become accustomed to. With all this, we’re left with the sense the Tucson may soon become the brand’s best-seller. Currently, only the Elantra outsells it.

We expect more details from Hyundai before long.
