The Pagani Huayra Roadster BC to be unveiled in Pebble Beach

The all-new Pagani Huayra Roadster BC will make its first public appearance at the upcoming 2019 Pebble Beach Concours d’Élégance.

With the Monterrey Car Week and the Pebble Beach Concours d’Élégance just around the corner, exclusive car previews are pouring in on our desks. The Pagani Huayra Roadster BC, a vehicle initially conceptualized for a video game (CSR 2), will now see the light of day in all its expensive Italian craftsmanship glory.

This edition of the Huayra is powered by a Mercedes-AMG 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 that dishes effortlessly dishes out 791 horsepower and 774 lb-ft of torque… at 2000 RPM. All this is managed by a 7-speed Xtrac automatic transmission that features an electro-mechanical differential to rotate the rear wheels.

The outside shell is as expressive as it is stunning, with copious amounts of carbon fibre and subtle details, along with the new signature titanium six-pipe exhaust system. Forged monoblock aluminium alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires (355/25 in the back) ensure contact with the road. A redesigned wing, various strategically positioned inlets and other aerodynamic tweaks let this Roadster generate up to 1,102 pounds of downforce at 280 km/h. It also tips the scale at only 2756 pounds.

Of course, it doesn’t strictly rely on aero to keep grounded. The Huayra Roadster BC’s suspension is composed of electronic shock absorbers, helical springs, forged aluminium alloy independent double wishbones.

The Pagani Huayra Roadster BC’ production will be limited at just 40 units, and each one will have a sticker price of 3M Euros (4.4M $CAD). It will be officially unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Élégance in a little bit more than two weeks.
