The Polestar 3 SUV’s Rear-End Revealed

The all-new Polestar 3 is a unique take on the common SUV

  • The Polestar 3 launched officially on October 12th.

  • The elegant SUV will pack serious performance.

And it looks really good. Based on this new official image and those shared early last summer, the new Polestar 3 will sufficiently disrupt SUV design expectations to position it as a must-have for those craving SUV capabilities and something a little different.

The Polestar 3 will Cost 75,000 to 110,000 Euros, Almost the Same in US Dollars

We don’t mean to upset designers, or maybe we’re complementing their work but we spy plenty of Cross Country in its profile – yes, we mean it somewhat reminds of a station wagon.

“We had to ask ourselves: ‘what should a modern SUV look like?’ Polestar 3 defines the SUV for the electric age and in designing it, we addressed some of the fundamentals of the archetype: proportions, stance, and aerodynamics,” says Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO.

Beyond its attractive outer shell, the Polestar 3 will feature a rear-biased dual motor powertrain (initially at launch) with electric torque vectoring via a dual-clutch system on the rear electric motor. The dual-chamber air suspension will include active dampers as standard which means it will handle and be impressively comfortable.

The Polestar 3, like the 2, will be optionally available with a Performance Pack which will boost output to 380 kW and 910 Nm of torque (510hp and 672 lb.-ft.) along with Polestar Engineered chassis tuning and Polestar’s signature Swedish gold details throughout.

The official launch will commence at 19:00 CEST on 12 October with a live broadcast will be here.
