Recently, Toyota introduced the revised 2021 GR Supra with its more powerful turbocharged inline-6 cylinder engine and the addition of a 4-cylinder version. But now, according to bestcarweb.jp, the Supra will eventually be offered with the new BMW M3 and M4’s 510 horsepower turbo 3.0-litre 6-cylinder engine, mated to a 7-speed M-DCT transmission. Thus will be born the GRMN Supra.
GRMN stands for “Gazoo Racing Masters of Nürburgring” and will be the ultimate trim on the current A90 generation Supra. This Super-Supra is not expected to arrive until 2023 and only 200 are expected to be built. The news source also says that the GR Supra will end in 2025 and that there are no plans for a follow-up generation.
