This Is The 2021 Volkswagen Arteon Shooting Brake

Arteon wagon comes out of hiding in China

  • New wagon roughly the same size as the Arteon Sedan


The 2021 Volkswagen Arteon Shooting Brake was planned to debut next week, but there has apparently been a leak out of China.

The pictures here are from Chinese website Autohome and show the new Arteon wagon in two colors from all angles. The site is also reporting a few tidbits including the fact that the Shooting Brake will be share the same wheelbase, width, and height as the Arteon sedan.

This is interesting as we are sure you will agree, the 2021 VW Arteon Shooting Brake looks significantly larger than the sedan. The wagon’s overall length is just 4 mm more according to the source.

2021 Volkswagen Arteon Shooting Brake Confirmed, Will Debut on June 24

Volkswagen is expected to bring the 2021 Arteon Shooting Brake along with the refreshed sedan to North America. The car is expected to debut next week and we will surely learn more about both cars.

In the meantime, we like the fact that there’s a new wagon in the world, but it’s fair to say that the Arteon’s sleek look from the sedan hasn’t translated to the wagon…
