We find out more later today about the new CX-60.
The CX-60 will not be offered for sale in North America.
We always wonder if automakers stage these leaks or not. They tell us weeks ahead of time when the new vehicle will hit the stage and more often than not, somehow and mysteriously, images find their way on the interwebs beforehand. This is what’s happened with the new Mazda CX-60.
All-new Mazda CX-60 PHEV Premieres on March 8th 2022 – UPDATE
Details about the new 2023 Mazda CX-60 will emerge at some point today but it seems clear that it will in fact ride on Mazda’s new RWD/AWD platform and that it will feature a variety of powertrain options including a 4-cylinder PHEV variant, a 48V mild-hybrid straight-six petrol option, and diesel engines.
From the looks of it, the CX-60’s footprint is greater than that of the CX-5 while the cabin, the dashboard at least, looks to be an evolved and updated version of the one found in Mazda’s extremely popular SUV.
As we know, the CX-60 will not be sold in North America. It will be reserved for other markets including Australia as reported by CarExpert.
