This Is The Internally Leaked Mercedes-AMG CLA 45

And by internally, we mean that Mercedes-AMG unintentionally allowed an image of the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 on the CLA 35’s configurator page.

Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG have hit all the right buttons over the last year to 18 months, well except perhaps when they accidentally included an image of the all-new 2020 Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 into the recently revealed AMG CLA 35’s configurator page.

The latest crop of cars from Benz have been nothing short of amazing. From the new AMG GT 4-door coupe, the A Class, CLA and AMG GT coupe, all are taking Benz car’s to the next level.

This is especially true in the CLA’s case. The first-generation car was sub-par for Mercedes-Benz but the new one is beyond special. Just a few weeks ago, the AMG CLA 35 was revealed at the NY Auto Show and the yellow example on the show floor got us excited.

The Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 will be that much grander. The “base” 45 will deal with 383-horsepower while the 45 S will gainfully powered by a speculated 416-horsepower. Along with the power will come 4MATIC AWD, an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and likely the AMG A 45’s drift mode.

The image itself discloses little more than quad tailpipes with diffuser, huge multi-piston callipers up front, specific wheels and if you squint real heard, the CLA 45 S badge on the boot.

No word yet as to when the car will be officially unveiled but the Frankfurt auto show next fall seems plausible.
