This is What a Tesla Electric Tank Would Look Like

No, Elon Musk hasn’t hinted at a Tesla tank.

An industrial designer on YouTube, however, thought it would be cool to sketch one and we have to admit, the Tesla tank looks pretty good.

Eric Strebel’s channel is all about cool designs and this Tesla tank certainly its the bill. It has a futuristic design covering up a short wheelbase which would likely make it easy to cross just about any kind of terrain.

As InsideEVs pointed out, electrification in military circles hasn’t quite caught on yet and with good reason. Electric vehicles require charging stations which aren’t always easily accessible, especially in war-torn countries. Setting up a charging infrastructure on a base in a foreign country wouldn’t be easy either.

Still, EVs would present quite a few advantages on the battlefield. They are quiet, and their instant torque would certainly get them out of a tight spot quickly.

Tesla has quite a few crazy ideas and we certainly wouldn’t put it past them to try and build a tank. Maybe not today, but someday.
