Brady, Singer sponsor Porsche 963
New Hertz Gold livery highlights the racer
The Singer brand is about to be put on a Porsche officially. Along with Hertz and Tom Brady’s clothing line as all three will be sponsoring the Hertz Team JOTA car in the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championships.
Hertz has long been a motorsports partner, with the rental agency encouraging go-fast drivers with its Rent-A-Racer program of Shelby Mustangs and Chevrolet Corvettes. This time the company will bring a new Hertz Racing Gold livery to the car, with the paintwork designed by Singer.
Tom Brady’s Brady apparel brand will be the official apparel partner of the team. The brand says it is the “first technical apparel brand to apply two decades of pro sports level innovation and engineering to create a system of clothing that performs across every activity.” Brady will supply team kit as well as travel and leisure wear.
“I have been a big fan of motor racing for a long time, and for Brady to now be a part of Hertz Team JOTA as the future of motorsport apparel and design is an incredibly exciting opportunity,” said brand co-founder and recently re-retired NFL quarterback.
Singer Group is best known for its highly modified classic Porsches. The cars are transformed from what left the factory into something magical as part of a complete restoration. This one will be a factory racer, though.
Hertz Team JOTA will campaign a Porsche 963 in the Hypercar category in the FIA World Endurance Championship this year. That includes events like the 24 Hours of Le Mans, as well as events in the US, Asia, and the Middle East. The team are the reigning champions in the LMP2 class in the series and have snagged 10 podiums at Le Mans in the last nine years.
