Having just stepped off the plane from the Detroit Auto Show, we must admit this year, there’s no comparison: The 2019 NAIAS pales in comparison to the 2019 MIAS!
Seriously, with all brands accounted for and loads of great cars and trucks to see, the Montreal Auto Show is a must this year!
Here are 10 vehicles that will convince you to head on over to the Palais des Congrès over the next two weeks:
2020 Genesis G90
Luxury sedan lovers will be surprised by the new G90 because of its size, design and severe levels of bling. This, by the way, is a North American premiere!
2020 Jeep Gladiator
This one was revealed at the LA Auto Show but two months later, we’re still giddy with excitement. A cooler truck, there is none.
2018 Koenigsegg Agera RS
OB Prestige was nice enough to loan a few cars to the Montreal Auto Show from their extensive collection. While the Bugatti Chiron is cute, the Koenigsegg is mind blowing.
2019 Mazda3
Mazda will slay the compact car segment with the new 3 sedan and hatchback. With available AWD, loads of value and sex appeal, it’ll slay! Have we already said that?
2019 Mercedes AMG GT
When Mercedes wants to build something, they never do things half-way. The new AMG GT is sleek and fast. It may be the coolest AMG yet.
2019 Lamborghini Aventador LP 770-4 Superveloce Jota SVJ
Once you get to this portion of the show floor, the 5th floor to be precise, you’ll feel like you’re being watched – that evil purple Aventador SVJ is menacing and staring you down. Its wideness and flatness are mesmerizing. The other Lambos are cool too.
Mitsubishi e-Evolution Concept
We’re not saying that this concept is attractive but we’re inclined to think that the company is on the cusp of reversing the recent decline of all things Mitsubishi thanks in large part to the Alliance. We spotted the e-Evolution Concept back in the fall of 2017 in Tokyo and await the future.
2020 Porsche 911
The new 992 911 Porsche is one of the most anticipated cars this year. We’ve done the deep dive thing and are now eagerly awaiting our turn behind the wheel.
1974 Porsche 914-6
This is one of the latest superb builds to come out of F&F Fabrications’ shop. These guys are air-cooled-anything specialist with a penchant for Porsche. A clue as to what this car’s worth after the build? $90,000 to $100,000!
2020 Toyota Supra
For the first time on Canadian soil! We don’t yet have pricing but we have loads of information to share. Yes, there’s lots of BMW in there but it’s all good.
